Аннотация: Сформулирован новый подход к орбитальной настройке (орбитальному тюнингу) датировок палеоклиматических реконструкций, основанный на синхронизации палеотемпературных хронологий с квазитемпературными кривыми, рассчитанными по данным об изменении инсоляции на верхней границе атмосферы. Для учета запаздывания температурного отклика на изменение инсоляции применяется физическая модель, описывающая связь между изменениями кондуктивного теплового потока через земную поверхность и изменениями температуры земной поверхности. Значения запаздывания температурного отклика, рассчитанные с помощью предложенной модели, хорошо согласуются с эмпирическими данными, основанными на анализе независимых временных маркеров.
