Keywords: seismic station, microseisms, registration capability, epicenter, rock burst.
Аnnotation: The opening of the new seismic station Inta made it possible to form a basic regional seismic network on the territory of the Komi Republic and improve the registration capabilities of the network of stations of the Yushkin Institute of Geology of Federal Research Centre of “Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences” (IG FRC Komi SC UB RAS). It was possible to lower the threshold of representativity of recorded seismic events in the north of the republic from ML=4–4.5 to ML=2.5–3. Thanks to the organized net-work configuration, it became possible to register man-made seismicity. To assess the sensitivity of the formed seismic network of 3 stations (Syktyvkar, Pozheg, Inta) on the territory of the republic, the average levels of microseismic noises were calculated according to the level of the me-dian annual displacement power spectrum. The level of spectral density of seismic noise at the Inta station is within the Peterson global seismic noise model. The level of high-frequency daytime noise is an order of magni-tude higher than at night. In comparison with the Syktyvkar and Pozheg stations, Inta is characterized by more favorable ground conditions. The predominant value of the high-frequency part of the spectrum of microseisms (3–6 Hz), due to anthropogenic impact, is shown. Along with significant distances between seismic stations of the IG FRC Komi SC UB RAS, this is the main limiting factor in the registration of low-magnitude technogenic seismic events, which leads to an increase in the level of representative magnitude.
